This is a speculative project.

Those are the sketches for the bodies in movements for a dance piece in ROH.
The piece had to do with desire and the yearning of the lover, so I wanted parts of the body to be visible and create a sensation of nudity without being naked. Practically I wanted the material (lycra) to hug the body and leave the dancers free to move as they were naked.

"Migratory Species"

This is a video I made for the Ma Scenography Exhibition CSSD 2012 for my project "Migratory Species". It talks about the displacement and alienation I experienced in London. Its dark, suffocating and claustrophobic atmosphere, symbolizes the difficulty and the hardness of the city. The sounds are irritating as it is a composition from sounds I took from the city, slowly adding them together in a city soundscape.(sound edited by Cecilia Calderon)

The Project

My suggestion for Pierrot Lunaire Opera is a live ART event, taking place in the ground floor of the BARGEHOUSE, where the audience can take part in a live painting performanc, while listeling to the opera sang live by an opera singer, who is drifting inside the space.

The project is based on the use of overhead projectors and painting materials, which I used as a response to the opera of Shoenberg to create the following video. The audience is called to use the materials provided listening to the same musc. Live feed cameras would capture the projections on the wall and be projected on the Facades of the BARGEHOUSE as well as stills of their works will be taken and printed as ephemeral works of ART. At the end the KALEIDOSCOPE video will be projected on the big wall of the exhibition space as a tribute to the audience's creations.
